Something amazing is happening on the other side of the world.

Yes, it’s the soccer. But it’s more than that.

The Women’s World Cup has now globally surpassed the highest viewed matches in history. Nations are breaking every record watching their teams (shout out Ireland!) and, as once-dominant teams are eliminated by newer squads, legends are saying their poignant goodbyes to the pitch.

Marta, quite possibly one of the greatest players of all time, summed it up beautifully…

For those legends, it wasn’t just about playing a game. It was about planting a seed, because radical change has to start somewhere. Yes, it’s hard, yes it can be ugly, then suddenly the beautiful game is just a lot more beautiful because of that change.

We know the same is going to happen with periods. All of us right now are planting seeds for a world where periods - yes periods - will be better in every way. Better sustainable products, a better period story, better access for everyone to good products. And okay - a period might not ever be a beautiful game, but if we all keep planting our seeds (and growing them!) then imagine what the world might look like?

We can’t wait! Now, back to soccer (football!).
