    'Great value and very comfortable'

'I received these boots today. When I put them on for the very first time, they instantly felt as if I had been wearing them forever. They were so comfortable. Am now considering buying another pair. I brought them for my daily walks and am looking forward to trying them out on the local trails. They are in excellent condition and look virtually new. I rubbed in some dubbin to help waterproof the leather. Very happy with my purchase and at $99 a pair, are very good value for money too.' (Liz.M)

    Why do Ghillie Suits Work?

A “ghillie”, “yowie” or “wookie” suit (yep, they sound like fun, eh?) is a type of camouflage clothing worn to mimic the environment you are hunting in and break up your silhouette. They look like a tangle of leaves, bush and twigs.

    Answer: A. Siege of Leningrad

Starting in September 1941, German Army Group North surrounded the city from the South while the Finns cut the city off from the North. In January 1943 the Soviets opened a narrow land corridor but it wasn't until January 1944 that the siege was lifted, 872 days after it began. Soviet Army casualties number 1,017,881 killed, captured or missing, 2,418,185 wounded or sick and over a million civilian casualties during the siege and evacuations. German Army casualties numbered 579,985.
