    British Army Single Day Pack

'I think it will be buried with me'

'Bought this pack cause I don't like buying new stuff, some 11 or 12 years ago and its still going strong. I've ripped a strap and stitched it back on with a machine, thought it might die but its as good as new. Just don't chuck it in the washing machine like I did and end up losing the water proofing. Probably the best 14 bucks I ever spent' (Pixie)

    Know your Military History?

    Answer: B. Georgy Zhukov

The 'German Instrument of Surrender' was actually signed twice. The first document was signed in Reims on the 7th of May, 1945 with only Soviet General Ivan Susloparov signing without receiving authorization from Moscow. Stalin insisted a new signing 2 days later in Berlin with Georgy Zhukov taking the honors. Although it was officially signed the 8th of May (VE day to the allies), the time of signing in Russia was the 9th, hence Victory Day in Russia being celebrated then.
