I have met hundreds of winemakers in my career and interviewed close to a hundred. But this interview blew me away; I did not know what to expect nor understand the depth of Vahé Keushgarians experience. You can taste the passion, you can taste the experience (and you can hear him on the podcast!).

Armenian wines are not new. In fact, they are quite old in that the oldest in-tact winery ever unearthed is in Armenian; the winery dating back 6000 years (shoes were found in the facility).

Origins represents the perfect storm of limestone soil and volcanic rock growing idyllic crisp white grapes, ripened by sunlight from high elevation vineyards. A product born from a 6,000 year old viticulture history. Origins embodies the bold Armenian soul and its wine loving spirit.

The NV Keush Sparkling is one amazing wine, as well as a screaming value. Classy notes of white flowers, stone fruits, and obvious minerality flow to a ripe, textured, balanced sparkler that has way more depth, richness, and length than the price point would have you believe. Drink it over the coming year or two.
