The wine district designated as the Central Valley in Chile is hard pressed to conjure up a specific wine style. From the north to the south and the east to the west, the wines vary greatly. Over the years I have tasted 100's of wines designated Central Valley and can tell you there are good ones and really bad ones.

I have put together a group of wines designated Central Valley that made me sit up and take notice.
