Stock update - they’re coming soon 🤞

You might have noticed a few of your favourite nail polish colours are currently out of stock, and have been for a few months now. Firstly, I'm sorry, and wish as much as you that it wasn't the case.

We placed three huge orders in September last year, with an expected lead time of three months. The stock was finally completed in May, and it's been sitting with a freight forwarder since June. We've been expecting it to leave "any day now" for the last 6 weeks, and have been following up every day. It seems to be that freight forwarders and packers are still so overwhelmed because of increased shipping volumes and restrictions through Covid, that they still haven't been able to catch up.

We don't yet have a solid date, but things are at last starting to move, and we're hoping to be fully re-stocked by the end of September/start of October. Once the stock arrives it needs to be packed into its individual cartons and shipped to our warehouses in Australia and New Zealand. Watch this space, if you're receiving this email now, you'll be the first to know when everything is available again.

As you may know, we raised some very valuable capital last year. While this hasn't made our manufacturers work faster or resolved global freight issues, it has still played a role in stabilising KB's future. We've started holding much larger quantities of stock than we've previously been able to, giving us greater protection when there are inevitable delays in supply. In addition to this, we've been working on some amazing new product development in a number of categories that will be very exciting new territory for KB. So there's plenty to look forward to in 2023.

We hope not! But we also know better than to make promises we can't keep. The last two years of the pandemic have definitely taught us to be prepared for the unexpected. I want to say a massive thank you for your ongoing support, we're so lucky to have an understanding and loyal customer base.
