The Mammal Society have been advocating science-led mammal conservation for over 65 years and lead in the efforts to collect and share information on mammals which are facing decline.

They work tirelessly at keeping a constant watch on the conservation status of our mammals and work to train individuals on how we can monitor them ourselves through wildlife surveying. They also work in partnership to restore native mammal populations and re-establish functional ecosystems.

Keep an eye out for wildlife when you’re out and about, you could even catch a rare sighting of a declining species that charities like The Mammal Society need to monitor – make sure you report it!

By monitoring and reporting wildlife activity and sightings, we can make sure that each species is thriving and is not facing decline.
