Anyway, I'm here to let you know about our next release! 

Halloween + Elementals is dropping on Thursday September 30th at 7:30pm

All of our existing Halloween birds (owls and ravens) are currently sold out, but they will ALL be back with our four Elemental birds and a couple of special spooky treats next week. Keep your eyes on social media and your inboxes for the new earring reveals!

Ok, about the Elementals - we have a VERY LIMITED amount of these. We will restock eventually, but it will probably just be one small restock before Christmas if necessary, then they won't be available again until next year. I won't be opening any pre-orders if they do sell out quickly. I don't know if these four have a permanent place in our flock. They are a lot of work and very special, so they may remain limited.

They are only designed in the larger dangle style--there won't be any studs. They are super statement, please keep an eye out for our photos and videos (coming soon) to show you the looks. They are delicate and the most elaborate designs we have done so far. They are based on the four building block elements of the universe - Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Can't wait to show you more...

If you've been keeping up with our socials, or if you've made a recent order, you'll have seen our new packaging! We're done with jewellery boxes and now use customised cards that give you a little more info about your new friends and champion the birds themselves. We do continue to use the boxes for a few of our more delicate products such as the hummingbirds and brooches.

Our modifications have been a huge success, especially with the addition of the stud to hoop mod. I'd just like to clarify though that you can only choose one modification at a time. Sterling silver is NOT available for hoops unfortunately. *Due to a change of supplier, the price of sterling silver posts has increased.

I'm working on a restock of our Coastal Bird collection, stock is looking a little low so that will be happening soon. Moving into market season and the Christmas season, we'll be doing our best to keep everything in stock but it's going to be difficult, please have patience with us!

Mismatched birds (stud/dangle pairs) are never my priority as I prefer focusing on future collections and awesome new designs, but I understand it's something that is requested a lot! We aim to do a small mismatch release every couple of months, and I'm hoping to do  a small batch in October. Brace yourselves for October though, we've got a bunch of iconic Aussies joining the flock too, so you might want to wait for those!

Santa hat birdies will be back along with a few friends! Last year we had kookaburras, cockatoos and galahs, and we plan on adding a few more to that bunch. We're also working on a very special Christmas event...

The BINKABU Advent Calendar

December 1st - December 25th

25 days, 1 new design EVERY day, 10 pairs only

These won't be elaborate designs, more like re-colourings of existing birds (so think cockatiel or budgie mutations, glittery lorikeets, rainbow everything, etc etc - it could be anything!) They will be birds that we don't intend on ever stocking or restocking, so there are 10 special pairs for 10 special customers, and that's it. Listings will remain up until they're gone.

We haven't elaborated on this plan too much, so that's all I'll say for now 😊

SO, here are the important takeaways from this email:

• Sterling silver posts have increased in price due to a new supplier and an upgrade in quality
• Sterling silver is a softer metal and must be treated with care. Our usual posts are high quality, hypoallergenic, surgical stainless steel, so please don't think you need to choose sterling silver for a high quality earring. It is only for those with severe allergies.
• We are trying to restock birds consistently coming up to gift season, but we have a huge flock now so it is a difficult task. If you miss out on a popular bird (kookaburras or galahs etc) don't worry, they may be back in a day or two.
• HALLOWEEN + ELEMENTALS September 30th 7:30pm. Limited amounts of Elementals, initial release may be the only chance to grab them this year. No restock guarantees at this stage. Existing Halloween birds will be restocked.
• Mismatched Birds restock in October - no date set yet
• We have a new collection dropping in October, a few new birds joining us in November, and our Christmas birds will be released in the beginning of November too
• BINKABU ADVENT CALENDAR Christmas special event - December 1st-25th - 25 days of outrageous birds/limited editions/once-off pieces
