Hibiscus has a long history of traditional use with many health benefits. It has a tart and tangy flavor that complements the complex, smoky, flavors of tequila perfectly. Of course, this recipe can be made without alcohol, and it’s just as tasty.

HIBISCUS MARGARITA DIRECTIONS

Steep 1 teabag of hibiscus in 1/2 cup water for 20 minutes
Remove tea bag, add 1 tbsp. agave syrup or Cointreau.
Put in shaker
Add 6 ice cubes, juice of one lime, and one ounce of tequila
Shake well and pour into margarita glass, or blend with ice for a frozen version
