BIG ANKLES!

 

Let’s face it there is not really a polite way to describe large ankles is there.

 

You know you can be quite disparaging about your feet, legs and ankles.  Often your humorous comments about your appearance is a result of years of disappointment and embarrassment.

Our collection of 4 calf widths – wide, extra wide, super wide and super plus wide from 13 to 24 inches (30 to 60cm) in a range of shoe sizes has been designed for differently shaped legs too.

 

Quality, size, shape and customer service are at the heart of what we do.  Before we process your order, we take a good look at what you have ordered to make sure we don’t ship something that is too big or too small.

 

We recently received an order from the lovely Terry from Washington, in the USA.  Terry had given us measurements which suggested she need a super wide calf boots, but she had ordered the next size up – a super plus wide calf boot.  Before we processed her order, we contacted her, it was only then we discovered why she had ordered up –described her ankles as being “HEAVY” and was worried the calf would fit but the ankles wouldn’t.

 

We asked Terry to send us 3 measurements, her ankle, upper ankle/mid-calf and calf measurement she even popped a couple of photos on her email.

 

With this information we were able to work on a selection of boots that would work best for the shape of her leg and before sending her the options we measured the internal circumference of her problem area.  By doing this we were able to send her three styles that we knew would work for her.

 

It takes a little extra effort, a little extra time but it works.
