An Open Letter from Our President, Marlon Pando

Dear WLH Friends & Family,

After spending the last 2 summers in quarantines and lockdowns, I think I can speak for all of us when I say we’re ready to step into our “new normal” this season. You’re probably looking forward to the sun, some in-person events, and maybe even a little outdoor adventuring in the coming weeks. 

Unfortunately, we keep experiencing new alarming events and “normal” is so hard to reach these days, so I spent some time thinking about what we could do as a company to make even a small shift in our society. 

The truth is, the actions we take today will either protect or affect our tomorrow, and at White Lotus Home, we believe in protecting our tomorrows as much as possible – not just for us, but for our children too. Our children are our future, and we want to do what we can to make it as bright as possible for them. 

That’s why this summer we’ve decided to embark on a campaign called “Do It For The Children”. In order to try and put smiles on more faces, we are going to keep our focus this season on what we, as a company, can do for your children now, tomorrow, and into the future. 😁 And we’d like to invite you to join us. We are more powerful together. 

My deepest condolences go out to all that are facing difficult times right now. Please know that our prayers are with you and your loved ones.

We recognize that many of the jobs that used to be available to our young people during the summer while they are home from college or off from high school are disappearing!

However, we will be hiring this summer at WLH! So if you know a young person who’s passionate about sustainability, make sure they send us their resume! 😁

After receiving helpful feedback from parents in our community, we’ve made some design updates to our child-sized mattresses to make them better than ever. Crib and toddler mattresses are now lighter and more affordable, and we even added handles to make them easier to move around.

We also know how fast kids grow, and sleeping comfortably from pre-school to college is vital for having the most energy and getting the best grades.
