One of the hardest parts of being a dog owner is knowing what’s healthy for your dog. So how do you separate the fact from the fiction? As always, Pupnaps is here to help. Here are some myths you have to stop believing about your pup…
    Myth 1 Icon
Myth 1: a warm nose means a sick dog
According to veterinarians this one is definitely a myth. If you think your pup is sick pay close attention to appetite, behaviour, and toilet habits rather than their nose.
    Myth 2 Icon
Myth 2: Table scraps won't harm your pup
In fact, human food can be quite dangerous for dogs. Examples of toxic foods include garlic, onion, grapes, potato leaves, walnuts and an ingredient in sweet foods called Xylitol.
Truth 1: Dogs sleep for up to 14 hours a day
That’s a lot of sleep time! We recommend getting your pup a cozy, comfortable place to nap that cushions and supports them. For hygiene reasons it should have a removable washable cover that can withstand regular washing, like our original faux fur Pupnaps Pet Calming Bed.
Truth 2: Walks are the most important part of the day
Your dog lives for their walks, so it’s important to be well equipped. The Pupnaps Hands-Free Leash is a super lightweight but durable leash that will keep you connected with your pup whilst freeing up your hands for other important stuff.
We are on a mission to help our beloved fur-babies have the greatest sleep possible.
