Checking Overall Condition

Give your tires a quick visual check before hitting the road. Look at the tread and sidewalls for any cuts, scrapes, punctures, bulges, bumps or cracks. If you see anything suspicious, our Pep Boys Pros can take a look.

If your tire tread wears too thin, you lose stopping power and control. Check their tire tread with the penny test. Simply place a penny upside-down, facing you, inside the groove of the tire tread. If you can see Lincoln’s whole head, you need new tires.
