    What’s New at The ‘Roo?
    JUNE RECAP
    June was a busy month at the Kangaroo HQ! We officially launched Pick Your Kit, which lets you customize your own security kit — whether you live in a 5-person home or in a solo apartment.

    To kick off Summer, we also introduced Pouch of Prizes, a giveaway series that will run throughout the season. You can enter on our Instagram every Monday. Then on Wednesdays (we call it Hop Day), we’ll be giving out Kangaroo goodies to some lucky Instagram followers.

    And of course, in solidarity with our LGBTQIA+ community, we joined in on the Pride Month celebrations — waving our rainbow flag and reinforcing Kangaroo’s philosophy of security for all.

    Claims This Month
    Our kits do the watching, but our Porch Protection Plans are what help you get the payback you deserve when porch pirates strike. In the month of June, our users filed claims for everything from stolen clothes to a bike.

    The way it goes is this: when you have something snagged from your porch, just file a claim in the Kangaroo app and we’ll reimburse you (we’ve currently honored 95% of the claims). This month’s most commonly stolen goods were cell phones, a bunch of watches, and diapers! And the most common time that theft occurred this month was 4pm!
