A few seasons ago we wanted to redesign, reknit, and revolutionize our ski and snowboard socks. But like a Vermonter-in-good-standing, we went to the neighbors for help first – and that’s pretty much how we started working with pro snowboarder Jake Blauvelt to bring some fresh lines to life. With a feel for technical requirements and an eye for the elements, Jake and his years of backcountry and Vermont-winter experience was the kind of edge that brought the smartest sock design to the most durable sock construction. And it didn't hurt that he lives just down the road from where we knit.
